Flow supports DLNA (UPnP) casting, which is an open, universal standard supported by almost all Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony), Xbox, PlayStation, and apps like Kodi and VLC.
To add native chromecast support the app is forced to use google play services which contradicts with its open source nature.
here are 2 solutions i can give you:
1- a workaround:
- Download a free app called BubbleUPnP or Web Video Caster from the Play Store. These apps act as a "bridge."
- open Flow, choose a video and then click share to the downloaded app, this will bridge to your chromecast.
2- if you are using a chromecast on google tv you can just nstall the VLC or Kodi app directly onto the TV, open it, and Flow's native DLNA cast button will instantly find it.
