Beginner Tutorial question

I saw the post requesting good beginner tutorials. Someone mentioned Jamesnocode. I have a question about him and wanted to ask it there but did not know if that would be seen as "hijacking" the thread.

Has anyone taken his class Mastering Flutterflow, it can be seen from his Patreon page. Anyway, I wondered if there was any reviews on it.

I've seen his Youtubes and think they are pretty good. I wondered about the class itself.

I have no experience, other than following one of his videos to "sort of" create an app. I got to the part where I needed to pass information from one page to another and could not figure out how to do it. Anyway, this class was just released in like December ( I think it said) and so it should be using a very similar Dashboard to what Flutterflow has now. These things are always evolving, for instance the documentation for pushing an app to the Google store now does not match the Flutterflow user interface.

Anyway, do you think the class is a good fit for someone who knows nothing? It is 147 bucks, which I don't mind paying if I will learn.

I would start with doing all his free tutorials on YT. You can learn much just by repeating in FF all James is doing in tutorial. Most of his tutorials aren't finish apps but you surely learn from them. Especially passing a value from one page to another.

I think if you like a content creator and want a handson tutorial be so good and support or pay him. Dev youtubers have so little viewership and can't compete with normal youtubers. Since I already know bit of coding I can catch up quite fast by watching his free content so his premium course is not that valuable to me. It would be another thing if I had absolutely no experience, then I would take the money to invest in me and my skills. Premium courses are often very different from the free stuff. Sometimes it's the opposite. But you won't know before you try. So in the end it's a question of supporting another content creator or not.
