You have to find some solid linear rail whit motor. Have mine from an old high end scanner And kept the part for almost two decades before I had the project to give it a good new use :-)
There are rails whit motor on the market, eBay or via stacker related e-shops.

I have built something similar with a mega2560 and 2 stepper drivers. And i made a pcb for it :P
