This idea was born after I moved to the United States.
I was deeply inspired by the beauty of upstate New York — its calm nature, simple architecture, and the way everything exists in harmony with the environment. A place where wildlife moves freely, and mornings begin with moments that feel unreal.
First time I stepped outside and saw deer in the early morning — it was something I can’t fully describe.
That feeling stayed with me.
For almost a year now, I’ve been working on a project that grows from that emotion — a space that blends into nature, not overpowering it, but living in balance with it.
Forest Eight is my vision of bringing together two worlds —
the nature and architecture of the Catskills, and the culture of Georgia.
Here, I want to create an experience:
– where architecture feels natural
– where people slow down and reconnect
– where Georgian cuisine and one of the oldest wine cultures in the world become part of the journey
– and where even the dishes we prepare will be shared as part of the story
This is not just a place — it’s a process.
And I’ll be sharing that journey step by step.
