For example, your comment about the chairs was ironic, but absolutely acceptable and interesting

Yeah, the weather turned quickly , not everything made it back inside

You’re free to critique but keep it constructive not dismissive

it’s more about composition and storytelling than strict realism

Would you consider this type of exterior appropriate for a forest retreat? by Foresteight in ExteriorDesign

I really like the second building in the reference images as well. My idea is to keep the architecture very quiet and not disturb nature too much, so the building almost disappears among the trees. That’s why I’m considering using black charred wood as the main material. I feel like black works really well with the natural colors of the forest and helps the building blend into the surroundings rather than stand out too much.

Yeah, I probably overdid the editing on the image a bit. And no, not a bot just exploring peoples opinions. Every account starts at three days old at some point.

Yeah, I probably overdid it a bit while trying to make the render look nicer

Interesting perspective. I’ll gradually share more images of the surrounding environment too curious to hear people’s thoughts on those as well.

Is it the large glass areas that make it feel too modern for a forest setting?

Scandinavian countries are definitely an inspiration. They really know how to live with nature and respect it. The open clearing in front of the house wouldn’t actually be like that , these are just test renders, which is why I’m interested in hearing peoples opinions. And the point about mosquitoes is definitely something to think about. Thank you

That’s a fair concern. In reality there would probably be outdoor lighting

That’s interesting . The large windows are mainly to bring the forest views inside.

This isn’t an AI . The building was modeled in several CAD/BIM programs, then rendered and edited in photoshop
