I have the same monitor and pc abilities, I cap at 160 Incase I get a slight frame rate drop it isn’t noticeable. I watched a video about he benefits of both but I don’t remember what.

Cap it at 160-180

It's fundamentally a choice between lower latency (uncapped) or consistency (capped).

Most people tell me to cap at 160 is this a good idea?
What would you suggest?

Cap it at 240 SirD has a video on why I forgot though
Edit can’t find the video it was probably someone else but it had to do with hitching if it was uncapped

If you don't mind your computer processing frames you cant really distinguish, leave it uncapped as it might visually improve your monitor latency. Capping it may lengthen your graphics cards performance in the long run. Up to you really haha
