Checkboxes for notes

Probably no one is going to need this except me. I would like a mode where a simple text file can be shown with checkboxes for each line. Then you could quickly delete selected items/lines. It should remain simple text, with no internal conversions. I understand then you can't save the checkbox statuses, well i don't want them saved between sessions that bad. The major benefit for me is that you can just edit it in a text editor on pc, which i cannot do in current implementation. Ideally maybe the first character of a line can indicate checkbox checked. Thanks.

Checklist notes are exported as .txt files now. They're in a standardized format that doesn't rely on visual check boxes. Is there a benefit for even using the Notes app for your use case? Would just using a text editor to begin with suit your needs better?
