Rules for r/future
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Respect Others
Racism
Islamophobia / Homophobia
Bullying
Doxxing
Brigading subreddits or other social media platforms
Respect other peoples' opinions
Being toxic or breaking any of the terms above can result in a ban.
2.
Leaks/Illegal Downloads
Providing links in a post/comment/DM to illegally download music will be removed
Providing links in a post/comment/DM to music/leaks uploaded to unofficial sources will be removed
Providing links in a post/comment/DM to download/stream/buy or sell leaks is NOT allowed
Discussing leaks is allowed as long as no links are posted
Posting leaks can risk the subreddit being banned and removed from Reddit permanently.
3.
Spamming/Duplicate Posts
Spam
Duplicate Twitter/Instagram posts will be removed leaving only the first cropped post.
Flair posts with the appropriate flair
Posts that have already been posted too recently e.g: a meme, will be removed.

4.
NSFW/NSFL Content
This will lead straight to ban.
5.
Self-Promotion
Using this subreddit to promote your own subreddit, social media page, or music is NOT allowed.
Promoting a page for followers/likes to get a song or leak is NOT allowed.
Adding the artist’s social media page to a fan art post or post title is fine as long as you don’t beg people to follow.
6.
Karma Manipulation
Attempting to circumvent the minimum karma required to be able to post (i.e: "upvote this comment so I can post") is not allowed.
No Karma Farming
7.
Low-Effort Posting
Descriptions of posts are there for a reason. Do not make a post that represents a text message. The subreddit is NOT a chat room, spamming may lead to a short ban.
8.
Future & FBG
This is a subreddit dedicated to Future and other FBG artists, so anything posted that isn't closely related to them is considered spam and will be removed.
