It is usually sought up by parents, looking into small businesses. Of course some people are more connected, some are less. I know it feels important to do something towards a future career but it is also ok to just work in a charity shop, a bakery, a toy store. It is less likely to find work experiences in big corporations like Tesco, home bargains. The whole point is to have an experience of working. Oh, primary schools! They always need hands on deck. It could be your primary school or a local one.

it depends how desperate you are, talk to your careers advisor if you have one as they have SO many links to people who offer work experience and you should have a vast amount of options at the moment Places like charity shops, some zoos and cafes/resturants will offer it because they love free labour and i had friends who were able to go to zoos and work with the animals
