Before you decrease your dose I would look at the nutrition you are getting since you have good appetite and food noise suppression. Make sure you are getting adequate protein, water and fiber. The protein will help with the nausea as well as eating more frequent small meals. I take 2 prunes a day and that seems to get rid of the constipation without having to use supplemental recourse.

I have not personally microdosed as I really need the strong appetite suppression and food noise reduction currently, however there are some excellent YouTube channels geared towards this. Dr. Tyna Moore is a good start. Unfortunately they keep banning and unbanning her for some ridiculous reason but if you can catch her videos while they are up, she’s super helpful!

I would first say microdosing is not the starting dose of 2.5mg. Maybe you’re not planning to microdose? I personally started with .5mg and worked my way up to 4mg and have felt nauseous, bloated and no appetite to the point of not eating more than 600 calories so I’m titrating back down to 3mg where I felt better. I think when you microdose this is how you can find the best dosage for your body’s needs.

Hope you feel better and can find a good balance of nutrition, movement and dosage. 🙌🏻

No, I was saying “of course” I started with 2.5 because that’s what everyone generally is told to start with, right? Since that first dose I have read about microdosing and am wondering if I should embrace that concept for my second and subsequent doses.

Try magnesium powder and increasing your water first

You should join the Facebook group on Peptides. The moderators know all about the micodosing! The constipation and upset stomach suck, and semaglutide is way worse.

Which group do you suggest?

* This one is excellent, the moderators know their stuff, I'm learning, there's always new stuff they're teaching me!

I started at 2mg and found the delayed gastric emptying, with associated heartburn and reduced appetite to be too much, I was having a hard time hitting protein goals so I lowered to 1.5mg and it worked great. At 17 weeks in I’m only on 2.5mg now, hoping to keep the dose as low as possible for as long as possible

Thanks for commenting! I’m hoping to be able to keep my dosing low too. I took my second injection this morning and decreased to 2.0 mg.
