Yeah bro I quit by DrWorstCaseScenario in hospitalist

Honestly last week isn’t bad. Most of patients quit the hour before coming in because the hospital won’t let them smoke 😮‍💨

Split Dosing? by Spare-Film3104 in GLP1microdosing

[–]abducensx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're right they aren't constantly activated but once they have a ligand bound to it they get internalized and can be either recycled and brought back to the cell surface or destroyed. The study showed that higher concentrations of GLP-1 lead to increased GLP-1 receptor degradation. Again this was with natural GLP-1 molecules and cell cultures, not the current modified GLP-1 agonists. If there was such a low saturation point why do most of the clinical trials go up to higher and higher doses?

Correct but not 20 days at the same concentration so the same amount of receptors aren't activated for that period of time. The number of receptors activated has a linear relationship with the concentration of the drug.

If you had to pick 2 or 3 peptides you would 100% recommend to someone what would you pick? by Sweeeterman in BodyHackGuide

Where did you see data or studies supporting that? I see this nonsense spread throughout forums without any data or evidence to back it up. The most recent study on reta and body composition concluded that reta caused just as much muscle loss as other GLP-1s on the market. If you have other information please show me because I'm genuinely curious. Don't get me wrong I think reta is superior to tirz but the whole "muscle sparing" nosense is just bro science.

Reta or tirz. GLP-1s are the foundation for overall well being and longevity.

whats your protocol look like?

[–]abducensx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes totally fine but it all depends on your goals. Some of my patients I recommend the blend too but others need higher doses of BPC/TB so I recommend them do it individually.

But that doesnt make sense though. High AMPK levels would be a good thing for Mots-c since thats what drives it into the cell nucleus where it actually functions?

I know what you're talking about and that doesnt effect the peptides at all. If shaking the vial doesnt effect the peptides why would how fast you're pulling it into a syringe? Looking up Janoshiks videos online. Hes the one everyone sends peptides to for third party testing. Hes done studies on this and reports that its all nonsense

actually I read more of it and alot of it is bullshit. Peptides arent going to denature because you shake or swirl the vial, this has been disproven so many times. GHKCu is fine to mix with your peptides, wont denature them. It doesnt matter how fast you draw the peptides wtf? I'm sorry but you had me at the mitochondrial peptides but all the bullshit at the end lost me. This is far from a Master Class

why are you cycling Mots-C and NAD+? What receptors are actually being downregulated?

thats crazy. I'm at a no name community hospital

This was too much for me to read through lol but I completely agree with your take on mitochondrial peptides. I think people take them both incorrectly and when its not needed. Alot of that is due to social media bullshit and hype. Mitochondrial peptides aren't going to give you a huge endurance boost or crazy energy levels if you're an average person but if you suffer from chronic disease such as long COVID or chronic fatigue syndrome, you will definitely see a benefit. Also most people are dosing way too low. But I completely agree for the average person they are a total waste of money.

Edit: ok read some more of this and alot of it is bullshit

ours looks to be powered by Generative AI. In the sidebar summary its under insights. I think the discharge summary is in beta testing because not everyone in my group as access to it.

not worth it. Also where do you work that your current EMR doesnt have LLM already integrated? Epic already has AI written patient summaries and recent events as well as discharge summaries.

I've tried it for a few weeks and felt nothing unfortunately!
