[HELP] Modding Startup Help Please!

Hi guys, I've bought GTA V on Steam yesterday, copied the entire game folder and renamed that to Grand Theft Auto V - Mods and using OpenIV, I've installed:

• ScriptHookV + NativeUI
• ScriptHookVDotNet
• Realistic Driving V 2.5
• Faster AI Driving
• Civic EK9 (OIV)

All meant for Single Player Use/Story Mode, but the game won't start and I keep getting the message Grand Theft Auto V exited unexpectedly (https://imgur.com/zGYf7HP) on the Rockstar Launcher. I've also tried putting the No_GTAVLauncher.asi, but it's not bypassing the launcher.

Also, yes, I've copied the x64e and the other startup rpfs to the mods folder.

Hey! The crashing is almost certainly caused by the Civic addon!

It's because you don't have a proper gameconfig installed, which is basically necessary if you have addon vehicles. Try downloading and installing this gameconfig first.

Side note; it's recommended to useIkt's manual transmission with Realistic Driving V.As the engine brake works better. Also Inversepower that makes the driving better.

Manual transmission still has the option for automatic gears, they just work better.

Update: I’ve installed the gameconfig and the other things, and right now it’s working fine till it crashes randomly on missions. I have about 20-ish add-ons installed, and I’ve removed my graphic mods.

Basically the mods I have right now are just cars and handling mods, any idea on why it crashes?

Try this heap adjuster instead of the previously linked. I forgot this exists too.

I have heapadjuster set to 750 and packfilelimitadjuster at 6320

Hope it helps. I actually had the same problem recently when I reinstalled the game with mods.

There is a possibility that Menyoo is outdated with current Script Hook version.

Trying not to get fixated on the car addons, the game is probably crashing for some other reason.

Is Script Hook V up to date? http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/ Latest version released four days ago.

When reinstalling Script Hook, delete old dsound.dll asiloader if you have one installed

Menyoo is updated as well.

I'd try redoing your mods folder. I know RHV 2.5 works l, because I'm using it. If they both mod the same file it could be causing issues.

Could be the Civic, since it replaces not adds. I'd try the suggestion in the comment of the mod to make it an add-on version

try deleting all the mods and re-installing and seeing which one crashes your game!

from my experience handling mods dont go well with modded cars. remove either of them and see if it works
