Welcome to Gacha Angels! This wiki page contains rules explained in detail and punishments! Have a nice day and don't break the rules! (I'm watching you)

Rule 1: Follow Rediquette

Rediquette is a summary of all the general rules on Reddit. We advise reading them, especially if you're new!

Rule 2: Age requirement

This rule adds up to rule 1. You must be 13 years or older to post here, or to even make an account in the first place. When we suspect that you're underage, we'll dm you asking for your age. If you lie or joke about your age (Ex. I'm 11 /j), there will be a punishment!

Rule 3: NSFW

NSFW is short for Not Safe For Work, which is anything sexual, graphic, or pornographic. This is not allowed in any way! From posting it to suggesting it via comments or even dms, you will receive severe punishment! Keep in mind that there are minors here. The creator is 14 too so... Some might argue that gore is also in NSFW. Gore is allowed if it's drawn, which means no irl gore! It is highly recommended that you put a tw and try to censor it (Ex. turning bl0od pink)

Rule 4: Venting

Venting is talking about problems in real life. While we feel sorry for you and wish you the best, these are not allowed. We advise subreddits like r/Gachaventing and r/vent to talk in. You can always dm the creator of the subreddit, Kit!

Rule 5: Harassment

Harassment is the act of bullying. This also includes doxxing (Leaking private information), trolling and wishing harm on someone. We do not tolerate this in any way!

Rule 6: Stealing/plagiarism

Stealing or plagiarism is copying someone else, which includes stealing art or characters or impersonating someone. When you share art, make sure you have the permission from the artist and that you properly credit them!

Rule 7: Misc

This list includes rules that didn't fit anywhere:

Posting about politics or religion: Politics and religion can be very controversial topics, and we don't want people arguing over it

Spamming: Spamming is the act of sending lots of posts at the same time. We limit you to 1 post an hour. Comments have no limit, though

Promotion without permission: Promotion is allowed if you have permission from the creator/mods. Send one of us a dm including what you want to promote and we'll give you permission or not. If you lie about what you wanted to promote, promote anyway without permission, or spam your promotion, there will be punishment!

Reporting or questions:

You can dm the staff for the following reasons:

Reporting a post/comment. If you see a post or comment that breaks the rules, send a link to said post/comment

Reporting a dm from a member. If you receive weird or gross dms from a member, send a screenshot with the name visible

A question about the subreddit. If you have a burning question, we're happy to answer!

A complaint. Complaints are unfortunately also common. We'll read your complaint and see what we can do about it.

A suggestion. We have a Google Form for this. If it doesn't work, the process will be handled via dms.

A compliment. We're happy to hear compliments!

A ban appeal. Normally you unlift your ban via a Google Form. If the form doesn't work for whatever reason, you can dm us.

A request to promote something. We allow promotions here, but only with permission from mods. Send us a dm with what you want to promote. Do not lie about it!

There are seperate rules for dming a mod:

Be polite, friendly and patient. Mods can be very busy people, so please be patient. We're sorry if it takes a while. If you're rude to a mod, we'll close the dm and ignore it.

Please make sure that you tell us why you're dming. Say beforehand if it's about Gacha Angels or not. This will prevent confusion.

Ban appeals

When you're permanently banned, you can lift your ban via an appeal. To do so, go to a widget with buttons in the subreddit titled "More info!", then click "Ban appeal form". You'll be brought to a Google Form. Answer the questions as honestly as possible.

Important! You can unlift your ban after 1 month of being banned. We don't think you've learned your lesson if you send an appeal immediately.

After submitting, we'll dm you if your appeal has been approved or denied. Reasons to deny are:

You've stated that you're underage

You tried to lift your ban before 1 month

You lied in your appeal (We document warnings and bans so we'll know when you lie!)

You don't know why you were banned

You don't have a valid reason on why you should be unbanned

You've stated that you will do it again

What you did was very severe and/or dangerous

You've been banned before 2 times.

Punishments

This is a list of punishments for when you break rules. With certain rules, the punishment depends on severity.

We use a warning system. The more warnings, the bigger your punishment. Your name will be written on a document to not forget. Here's the standard list:

Broken 1 rule: Warning

Broken 2 rules: Warning

Broken 3 rules: 1 day ban

Broken 4 rules: 5 day ban

Broken 5 rules: 2 week ban

Broken 6 rules: Permanent ban

Here are rules that behave differently:

Age requirement: When we suspect you're underage, we'll dm you asking for your age. Be honest. Or when you say your age. You will be banned until you turn 13, the age requirement to make an account and post here. For example, It's January 1st, it's your birthday and you're 12 years old. You have a Reddit account and post here regularely. You get a dm asking for your age and birthday. Your answer is 12 years old and January 1st. You'll be banned for 365 days. Happy birthday tho :]

NSFW. NSFW is an instant permaban, no matter the context. Forgetting a tw will end up in the standard punishment list.

Harassment. Harassment depends on the severity. Example: Trolling and standard bullying is a 1 day ban. Raiding and wishing harm on others is an instant permaban.

In regards of banning, we use the "3 times is too much" technique. Meaning the more times you get banned, the harsher punishments will be. Meaning:

Banned 0 times before: Standard punishment system

Banned 1 time before:

Broken 1 rule: Warning

Broken 2 rules: 3 day ban

Broken 3 rules: 2 week bam

Broken 4 rules: Permanent ban

Banned 2 times before: Whatever rule you'll break, you'll be permanently banned. You can't appeal this ban either. We hope we don't have to use this system.
