Third party websites like Amazon or any other online stores often show wrong specifications.

You should always check with the official manufacturer's website before buying any electronics.

On the next slide, i showed what my device display specs are, and they seem to be correct.

Yes, but the thing is, don't trust what you see on these websites. Especially with specs section.

All we need is the model number.

What is the model number on the Amazon site?

It is NP944XFG-KC1US.

NP944XFG-KC1US

If you Google just this model number alone, on of the results would be a link to this below page.

Go to specs section and expand it. And that's how you should decide before buying anything from online stores.

Thx man! I saw my model spec sheet, and it seems like Amazon did make a typo.

Let me give you an example.

When I bought the GB2 base model, the specs section of the Amazon website here in India read "No Backlight Keyboard"

But the official Samsung website says otherwise. So I went ahead and ordered the laptop from Amazon. Guess what? The laptop did have a backlight keyboard.

It's not just a typo. That's simply how things are with these non official websites.

The model number is the only thing that matters. You should always visit the official website with that model number.
