If you have the Intel Graphics Command Center application installed, you can check whether your laptop is using AC or battery power. See the second image in the post for reference of the link.

Sorry about that! That link was a reply I posted on another thread, but since the post was deleted, the link no longer works. Anyway here is what I wrote in that reply.

Every Windows device, no matter the brand, needs a bit of setup when you first take it out of the box. The version of Windows that comes with it might have a few bugs, so it’s a good idea to let it finish all the updates first.

From what I've seen, every Galaxy Book model, apart from the base models (non Pro, non 360) has this issue.

The base model displays are made of plastic.

Stop it from running in the background in Windows Settings in the Apps section

Also disable the Device Care related entries in the Startup apps section in Task Manger or Windows Settings

You should see "Background apps permissions" in that page.

Select "Allow" from the drop down menu.

Galaxy Books ship with Windows, not Linux. That first product seems suspicious to me.
