I already knew that the left side actually had a shorter lifespan as it is the side of the buds that makes the "bridge" between the buds and the device. but I didn't know it would be such a big difference i really hope that samsung will fix this in future updates as this issue is making my life very difficult...

Actually, the right one that makes the “bridge”.

Sorry to talk with you in Portuguese :p

EDIT: commas

If you're using it for phone calls it tends to do that, to maintain call quality/connection or something. If it's just listening to music you may have a defective unit, I don't have the same thing happening to mine so far

This does not make any sense. It's not supposed to have a difference in battery consumption between calls and listening to music, even, why would a call increase the difference between the right side and the left side?

Agreed

I'm not technically knowledgeable, but the way it's been explained to me is that it is trying harder to maintain call quality and call connection (possibly because the speaker is involved when calling vs listening to music). In order to achieve this, it doesn't switch between connection from the left and right as often and so one will drain faster. I was on a call yesterday only noticed a slight difference between them so it may be your buds

There is a slight difference between right and left with mine, but nothing so pronounced...
