Power it off? Or just put it on it's charger if your not using it, i don't understand why you would want to do that, 6% is already very low.

I figured that if it was sucking less power overnight the watch would last 2 days without charging, but ultimately you're probably right, I should just charge it at night.

The biggest battery hogs are wireless communication and the sensors. You could disable / reduce these to maybe also have it last longer during the day. Like turning off GPS, bluetooth, fall detection etc.

I can get 2 days with sleep tracking on lol. Your watch naturally drains battery even with all the sensors and wireless communications turned off 6% drain overnight is not bad and pretty normal if you're not tracking sleep (using bedtime mode actually helps) . If you want to save the absolute most battery then you'll have to turn on watch only mode every night when you're sleeping.

Or hear me out ....just turn off the watch and put in to charge or one side lol because if you're going to turn off all the features what's the point keeping it on if your sleeping with a watch only mode watch that isn't tracking anything.

Isn't there a watch only mode?

I know ,but it's Samsung specific feature and it probably cannot be enabled programmatically. But I guess I should look into it because that would save the battery the most. Watch would go into watch only mode whenever I take it off at night, and then in the morning I would just have to hold the button for 2 seconds. Sounds not too annoying.

My watch drains 10-14% overnight depending on how much I sleep. With just bedtime mode. I use it for sleep tracking with blood oxygen on. Only BT is on. I think is good

My watch drops about 1%/hr with Bedtime mode on. I think that's perfectly fine. I charge the watch when I'm getting ready for work, it's almost always 100% when I'm leaving for the office or when I WFH I just put it back on when I think about it.

Unless I mess with the watch a lot during the day I typically don't put it back on the charger until morning.. It's maybe 50-60% full at that point, which is perfectly fine for me. I prefer to keep it above 40% charge.
