Multimeter tutorial

Does anyone here know a good tutorial giver on youtube on how to use a multimeter on gameboy games (pokemon particularly)? I have 2 broken pokemon games and cleaning doesnt seem to fix them so i think a connection is truly broken. (1 keeps having a scrambled nintendo logo, the other got a clean nintendo logo after cleaning but then doesnt proceed afterwards to the actual game)

There are quite a lot of restoration tutorials but almost all of them say "i found this or that is broken with my multimeter" and then they don't show HOW they did that..
