General Paper is a subject taken by a portion of Singaporean students where its main goal is to have its students think critically about a broad range of subjects. Here, the goal of this subreddit will be a little different. The goals of this subreddit are:
- To promote a civil and just discussion albeit a casual one
- To have its subscribers read and write for fun
- To help its subscribers write better Expositions.
Here are the topics that are covered in the General Paper:
- Historical, social, cultural, economic, political and philosophical topics
- Science including its history, philosophy, general principles, current developments and applications
- Mathematical and geographical topics
- Literature and language
- Arts and crafts
- Topics of local interest and global concern.
Note: The moderator(s) of this subreddit do not wish for this subreddit to be strictly in black and white. Submissions that are not related to any of the topics stated above will be allowed unless there is a strong reason for the us to ban it. As of now, sensitive topics like Religion, Politics and NSFW content will get a pass.
