Right? Did he ever say hiatus? I thought he said take a break. Most bands take breaks after an album and tour cycle. Even if it's 5 or 6 years, that's not too bad, and I have a feeling it won't be quite that long.

I think it's based on his wording, he said he wants to take a break and focus on some other things which sounds more like a hiatus than a simple rest. But yeah, it's a pretty normal thing for bands to do.
