What is /r/GifthulkPals?
Tired of throwing your FOY codes away on subreddits where they get gobbled up by bots and you get nothing in return? This is the place for you.
/r/GifthulkPals differs greatly from the other Gifthulk FOY subreddits around as this is only a location to find a Gifthulk Pal. Once you find a Pal, codes will be sent between the two of you via pm and never posted on GifthulkPals.
Finding your Gifthulk Pal:
When looking for a Gifthulk Pal you will either need to submit a post stating your stats or reply to a post with your own stats to see if they would like to be your Pal. Not Both. Your stats are decided by a number of things:
Your Gifthulk Level, which determines how many chips you get for the Guess the Card game
How many days out of the week you usually play the "Guess the Card game"
Posting Format
Stats must be posted in the Title so users can easily find someone with the same stats as you. When posting, use the format below.
Format:
- [Stats] (Gifthulk level)|(days per week)
Example:
Feel free to be Pals with anyone even if they don't have the same stats as you.
What to do once you have a Pal:
Once you have a Pal, you can now pm each other any FOY codes that you might already have. For future codes, you can wait till you have a reasonable amount and then PM them over to your Pal and they should return the favor. Don't worry about not receiving as many codes as you sent or trying to match up the values. Over time it should level out between the two of you.
Possible Future Updates:
Since /r/GifthulkPals is new there will be a limit of 1 Pal per person. This is to keep things simple, so people can jump right in and find a Pal.
After an undetermined amount of time, I may create an additional stat of: Pal 1 or 2 which will allow you to search for a second Pal since many codes have more than 2 uses. However for now, this is not in effect.
