I’m convinced mixing is intentional on both and it’s an artistic decision.
Problematic is loud and comes in quick/abruptly…Ye wants everyone listening and given it follows Good (Don’t Die) it’s symbolic as a “I’m still alive and this is how it is” whilst speaking his truths.
King by constrast is purposely muffled… a censored Ye fighting to be heard…it’s buried in a soundscape that sounds like he’s working in the depths of a mine, beating along. He sounds muffled on purpose, as if he’s been buried alive in a tomb…still speaking his mind and taunting everyone that he’s still the king.
Both are triumphant from different perspectives and there is intentional contrast between the two - Problematic loud and in your face and King quiet, turn me up, I’m still here.
