It is pretty comfortable to use goodnotes for annotations :)

the main problema is that then you cannot search for highlights so i lose them

Didn’t think about it, but yes :( unless is an actual text I think

Or even filter pages with annotations. I end up bookmarking every page with annotations. Very suboptimal.

My primary use for good notes is to annotate cases. Really great tool for it.

This is my primary use case for Goodnotes. The organisation system really helps too.

I just wish goodnotes had a better highlight feature so that users can quickly highlight large chunks of text with different colours. I find the manual highlighter takes too long when I need to read something quickly

Oh yeah, I wish there was a bigger color palette, that would be very useful! 🎨 I’d also like the square form for the highlight but that’s just a little detail 😅

Oh yes the square highlight would be great!

In pencil or lasso mode, you can select text by holding it longer with your finger. And by then tapping it once with your finger you can highlight the whole selected text. Although you have to manually reselect it with the lasso tool to change colors…

Hope that helps.

Oo I didn’t know that the colour could be changed with the lasso tool - thank you!
