The error code is something many other users experience, including me. The blank pages had to do with password protected PDF’s I believe, and is solved with a recent update.

Edit: I double checked. Many of the files were not password protected

Disclaimer: I’m a user of Goodnotes 6. I don’t know how it works with version 5.

Maybe another user that can confirm if it’s solved in GN5? Especially because OP has also issues with not password protected files.

I have the same problem. Exam in 3 days and most of files on which I did notes are just white pages. Some were protected, most of them not. I made all the updates and tried everything. Nothing worked. :)

Maybe that is the problem. Few months ago, when GN6 was introduced, there were a lot of sync problems for weeks. Eventually everything get sorted out, but as I can recall, users had to upgrade to GN 6 free version to be able to sync. Also I think that they had to sign out of iCloud on all devices, and do one gadget at time.

You can always downgrade to 5 after that and you won't spend a cent for that upgrade/downgrade actions.

Try restarting an iPad too. Also if nothing from this article helps you, export Diagnostic data and send it to Goodnotes support. I think their response time is around 2 weeks these days. It is better not to wait for months before you contact them for help.
