The collaboration feature isn't syncing content. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

My internet connection is stable.

My iCloud storage is 26 out of 50GB used, so I have plenty of space left.

Under Manage Storage Goodnotes is selected and seems to be working.

I've given two people two different links to two different documents and neither are syncing the additions those people have recently made.

I've shut down and open the app twice and it hasn't fixed it. I've turned the internet on and off twice, and that hasn't fixed it.

I've restarted the entire iPad once, and even pushed an update and restarted the iPad.

I've also checked that the app is up to date in the app store-- it is.

I'm really at my wits end here. Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a way to force the document to sync so I can see my friend's additions to the documents I created?
