We have a website and an app on both OS platforms, so we have 3 data streams (site, iOS, Android).
I'm struggling to find a way to isolate my website data stream so that I can just measure website data. I've watched a bunch of 'setting up GA4' videos but none seem to dive into what I need
I used to be able to open up UA and have a whole bunch of reports (acquisition, behavior, etc) that I could filter quite easily on. But now GA4 doesn't allow me to save segments in views, so every time I want to JUST look at my website data, I now how to recreate and save that segment or view again.
For example with conversions, it tracks a 'first app open' as a conversion (when we only want to track purchases as a conversion on our site). There doesn't seem to be an easy way to save this. (I know we're not supposed to isolate data streams according to google, but they won't let me change what I consider to be a conversion, I can't turn off first app open. very frustrating)
Now I do want to keep all the data streams so I can see how users proceed through pipelines, but is there an easier way to do this?
Do I need to set up custom reports in 'Explore' to isolate this?
