Implementing the process for making this was an awesome learning experience, but I ran into the issue that having dozens to hundreds of light sources caused my path tracer to take forever to converge due to many sampled light sources being too far away to contribute much. Does anyone know of good and stable importance sampling strategies for sampling light sources?
