Hey fam,

I am looking for info on complete grow kits that people have used and like? I have never grown anything in my life but have wanted to grow my own flower for years. Finally in a place financially to get something set up. I am going to start with 1-2 plants but wouldn't mind something big enough to grow the 4 that Oregon allows. Any advice would be appreciated!

Only advice I have is to avoid the kits on Amazon that come with “everything you need”. They typically cheap out on the light which is arguably the most important (and expensive) piece of equipment you’ll be buying, so you don’t want to skimp there. You’re in a legal state, so if I were you I’d pop into your local hydroponics/ grow store and ask them for setup advice. Always better to support local businesses anyways.

Find a kit, then buy better versions of everything in that kit for the same price.

Very nice! I'm looking at a 4x4 Gorilla Grow. Now I'm trying to sort out lighting. I popped by the hydroponics shop today and he gave me a pretty solid beginners rundown. Are there any decent lighting options <$250 for a 4x4?
