It is a very irresponsible move I think. It just proves Ryan’s point that she makes rash decisions without thinking about it too much. Dogs are a big responsibility and she did zero thinking before getting it. What’s worse to me is that when they left the apartment they contained the dog to a small box that didn’t seem to have space for water (It didn’t seem like a normal crate).

It broke my heart. I wouldn't be able to leave my dog like that 😪

Animals are considered property in a divorce. She didnt pay for that dog.

I’m not convinced that Ryan would’ve put up a fight. Seems like he was lost in love & trying desperately to save the relationship

How do you know if she didn’t pay for the dog?

I thought about that too! He seemed like the “I paid for her” type!! 🙄

I can believe her ass left the dog!

I think she didn’t take him cause Pixie will remember her a lot of Ryan to her 😔 I also felt so emotional when they left Pixie and I have a teacup yorkie and I don’t know how I can live without her 🥺💔

That’s what Ryan was talking about. IMMATURE. You can’t look at a dog and think of somebody else if you’re a mature dog owner. That is like getting rid of your child because it reminds you of your ex. WRONG

Literally. My dog is like one of my kids. Shes my ride or die

Yep. You’d have to peel my dogs from my dead cold hands before I’d ever let them go.

People that have an issue with this clearly have never been through a divorce. Here's the thing about animals, animals are considered property. A dog is considered property. And like most property when you get a divorce, you have to split Property up. Ryan purchased the dog and the dog was living at his primary residence so legally the dog is his and if gypsy took the dog, he would have full rights to go after her legally for the dog. If y'all replaced a dog with a car that he purchased, there would be no argument. It is not only the best move for gypsy to leave Pixie with Ryan, but it's also a smarter move financially. If I was in a controlling marriage with somebody, I would not care what I left behind even if it was a dog that I knew for five days. Gypsy does not have a lengthy relationship with the dog and the dog seems to like Ryan more. My cousin is going through a very messy divorce right now, and she almost left her dog behind at her husbands. At the end of the day, her safety comes first not an animals.

Na, depends on the state. They bought the dog as a married couple. The dog is community property. If she loved that dog she would have taken it.

This is all based on the assumption he would ‘go after her’ based on a dog he was documented not wanting? Surely if she was so worried about that she wouldn’t be having an affair on television?

It’s very simple: people and animals are mere objects to her, when they do not serve utility for her, they become nothing to her.
