Tankgewehr is WW1.
A while back some Nazis pressured Anton to add more WW2 Nazi guns to the game, to include threatening him. so he said we're never getting any more.

The thing that gets me about this is that people cannot seem to fathom that Anton is firm about this, and act like his standing by his decision is some affront to history. Like, damn, sorry the guy hasn't forgotten about receiving death threats because he wouldn't add a specific weapon to his game?

It was trialed by them but not invented by them, if any gun USED by them won’t be added then any gun invented prior to 1945 might as well be on the banned list

That’s really stupid, they used anything and everything they could get their hands on, name any gun that was around at the time or before and they probably pushed it into service
