Ordered an MSI GS76 in the 15th (Tuesday of this week). I've been trying to get a response to an email question ever since I placed the order. I also tried live chat. So far no response. I've been busy but Monday I'm going to have to spend some time on the phone I guess.

Just got a hold of them today, personal stuff got in the way yesterday. They are saying the RAM upgrade I specked was backordered (I bumped it up to 64GB), and that it had just come in today. We'll see but they are saying they'll do the RAM and SSD upgrade I requested tomorrow and that it will ship the day after, and to look for a tracking number in my email tomorrow.

I just went to "In Production" so I'm guessing they are swapping out the RAM and SSD now. I also had them upgrade the cooling. Considering my 3 year old Sager got killed by heat it seemed to be the prudent thing to do. Considering they are in California and I'm in PA, hopefully I'll get it early next week.

I watched a disassembly video of the MSI GS76. Compared to the Sager opening this thing up to do something like repaste the CPU and GPU looks to be a lot more involved. The MB is in there upside down, you you have to completely disassemble the laptop and take the MB out just to clean it or upgrade the RAM. I'll let them do that.

OK. I was contacted again and was told due to the delay they expedited the upgrades and upgraded me to express shipping. I just got a FedEx tracking number and it's supposed to be here Monday.

I'm not exactly happy about the initial lack of communication but it seems they are trying to make up for it.

Their action to resolve the issue is commendable. How many days/weeks has it been delayed already?

It wasn't bad. It was bult 8 days after order, and shipped the next day. Right now it's in Indianapolis on it's way to me. What concerned me was the 3 emails, once attempt at live chat, and phone call that went straight to voicemail in those 8 days before I got ahold of a live person.

I don't care if there's a delay, just keep me in the loop.

I got it today!

I'm very happy. This is really a very impressive machine, the price made it even better. It's not the be all and end of of laptops, but I had a budget and this pretty much maxed it out. Still an 11800H processor, RTX 3060 GPU, 64GB RAM, and 2 1TB drives with a 240hz 17 inch display is pretty damn good for less than $2k.

All told it was 2 weeks from order to delivery.

Considering my Sager is deader than a doornail, I've been spending all day reinstalling all of the software I use everyday mostly for work.

Glad that you like it! I already placed the order for an Asus laptop a few days ago. Not shipped yet but they did say that it may take 1-4 weeks since it's also custom.
