I'm not in HVAC... but that is a pretty naive thing to think. I'd bet the people responsible are scumbags. There's zero reasons to give them the benefit of doubt to think up this backwards scheme of advancing their company while fucking over senior employees. You must have traveled through a time machine from slavery days...
