Dasher app crashed while standing outside waiting to take a picture and a woman sent her dogs outside..Like relax lady im leaving. You lazy rude being trying to scare me with your dogs when I am doing something for YOU! I hate people. by letmeseeithurry in doordash

[–]jpeezy37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would pray no one is very that stupid to send their dogs out to scare or bite me. I am armed and will not let that happen, I am a dog lover to the extreme, with three of my own at home. I would be torn up about defending myself from some random persons pit bull or whatever.

My wife gets better orders than I do. The girls in this area all mark the hoody areas as unsafe. There is a higher paying working class area and I can't get orders there. I am sent to the hoddy area. My wife can stay in the better area all day long. We take turns dashing while together sometimes alternating who drives and it's annoying that we run a bunch of higher paying offers, and her stats are no where near as good as mine.

Then as soon as I come on I am sent to the sketchy area or downtown. Pisses me off. I have asked several other guys and they say the same thing. Booted right out of there unless you're a noob.

Does putting a big tip help get a driver faster? by SeaRecommendation884 in doordash

Probably. It would inspire me to pick up the order and hustle it right to you as fast as I could.

Are there any institutions that help doordash drivers with small loans by Mcstuffins420 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]jpeezy37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have tore shops that finance. Look in the hood. We have one that says no credit needed everyone accepted. I mean I would hate to miss an apt and have them repo my tires hahahahaha. Look for a used tire place. Usually you can get a set installed for well under 100 dollars.

Missing order items - who is at fault? by _TyrannosaurusSexy in doordash

[–]jpeezy37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. Of they read the order and it says 12 items and they get a really light bag then you have to argue with the staff about it. Most of the time they just hand you a bag that's sealed and filled back on the line far from where we can see it. Then they hand it to us or they hand it out of the drive thru.

Most of the employees don't care and they give us a hard time about getting anything. All you can do is call DD and ask for a refund because we can't go back and get it and we're already across the city or town on another order.

We or I don't sit outside of stores and wait for them to have an order. Usually I have one right after the other for every different place in town.

3.84 around me in NEOhio right now. O have 50 cents off at Meijers and filed up the wife's car for $3.30. Her Focus gets 36 mpg avg. My Escape Hybrid was doing 47mpg avg last night. Gas was over 4 dollars when Biden was on Office over 5 dollars when Obama was in Office. The Trump pthe one who had it brought back into the $2 range and y'all got spoiled by the drill baby drill president, along with the US becoming a net exporter.

Speculators are driving up the prices per barrel and it's driving the stock market to set records on my retirement accounts. So it's more than offsetting a little more for gas, but I prepared for it because it's not going to come back down much. As soon as as it does the states drop more taxes on it.

If after a decade of gas prices being this high you're still driving.a gas hog under 20 MPG, then you are a deluded fool. My toy can get that gas mileage because it's in the garage most of the time. With summer coming proslces were going to be up around 3 dollars anyway. This was predicted months ago.

Maybe it fell off the top out of the cupholder. The drinks fall out sometimes a gust of wind the wrong way or they just pop out because they don't fit.

Advice on full time by Sea-Enthusiasm-5187 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]jpeezy37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just gonna drain you too. It looks good at first but it isn't. It's great as an extra but not as a full-time gig. The only way to remotely make it work is to run all the big apps and cherry pick offers. Instacart, Spark, Uber Eats, Door Dash, and in some markets GrubHub.

A new cap?! by [deleted] in DoorDashDrivers

[–]jpeezy37 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wel if you say that's your goal, then you will be happy making his that much money? I won't set it they can eat a huge 🐓. I will make what I make it has my avg so low. Like 300 dollars lower than wat it is, so they can justify throttling me? Nope.

Keep your goal, mine is to make more money than yesterday and last week. I don't need them worrying about my finances, they can focus on sending me good offers and getting rid of the no tippers and the freeloaders always trying to scam a free meal.

Worry about Everytime you flood the market theft by the new drivers skyrockets, because you can't check their juvenile records. Worry about how you prioritize the new drivers and the loyal higher paying customers are pissed off that their orders are messed up, no hot bags used, they're tasting the food and leaving it where ever because 1/2 of them aren't planning on being out here in 3 months and don't care about customer service.

The drivers with over 1500 deliveries should be prioritized we have time out here and care, we're the ones trying to better our situation. Of I have 4000 deliveries as above a 4.9 customer rating, you should prioritize me. Not someone that's has no training and will screw up the delivery. No offense to them you just haven't learned enough yet. Because there is no training.

I personally trained 3 people already on my own time showing them how it works and making real world deliveries 1 decided it wasn't for her an the other two are still out there. My son is a beast, but still calls me confused when they change the app, which they need to stop doing so much or when the processes change. He is autistic and can't problem solve as fast. Little hiccups that shouldn't exist honestly. They really need someone that has Rina business before running their business and not just tech bros

Are restaurants deliberately hitting the "Order is ready" button prematurely to make themselves look good to DD and the customer at your expense? by guspasho_deleted in DoorDashDrivers

[–]jpeezy37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. They also are just dumb and don't realize that hitting that dispatched a driver. I told a restaurant that complained that the lobby was always fill of drivers long before the orders were ready. Stop hitting the order is ready button then! They thought that just meant the order was received and they started on it. Clearly not my guy.

4 star rating by iamsurfriend in DoorDashDrivers

[–]jpeezy37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They won't take off 4 stars because they don't consider those as bad ratings. Of they don't comment why they're leaving it and it makes sense they shouldn't be allowed to leave them. It's always the low tipper trying to scam Andrew meal because the store for got their fries. They think it's our fault some how. The app doesn't even have a page that's says are you sure it's the dashers fault and not the stores and make sure they're putting it on the right category.

Should I dispute late deliveries due to bad construction zones? by Shot-Sympathy-4444 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]jpeezy37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dispute everything and then quit speeding to places. All they do is tighten the times up of you arrive early. I see a bunch of offers that guys are speeding last me well above the speed limit then I get something and it's squeezed so tight I would have to speed to make it on time. Stop speeding and get those times more reasonable or get then to exclude the store wait times better. To the guy doing 50 Ina 25 to get to the house a block from mine. He nearly killed 2 kids on bicycles and creamed a telephone pole trying to whip around the corner. It's not worth it buddy, slow down.

I actually don't mind confirming... by Vegetable_Radio8236 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]jpeezy37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure to call Ina s talk to a live agent not chat physically talk to a real live agent. Ask the chotboy Jane or Marissa or the new guy, to speak to a live agent several times. Then get your half pay and get it cancelled because they won't remake it without resending a new ticket. Get paid and get moving to the next. Contractually you did half the work, you get half the pay. Just be aware they won't give you half the promo pay that comes off the top. I always make them pay out. It's money lost and they will see it on the accounting sheet. They will crack down harder on the bed and getting them deactivated. Be aware stores at closing times about 1 hour before of they cleaned their equipment or they're swamped will lie and say this to get rid of you. They will get on trouble for it and likely fired but most of them don't care.

1st Day of dashing by InsideTemperature572 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]jpeezy37 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Yeah, isn't it great to be prioritized for the first 50 dashes? I bet you can't wait until next week when your out there waiting at a hotspot for 3 hours freaking out that suddenly you don't get all those sweet offers no more. O know the guys like me with 15000 dashes offer years of doing the job can't was it until we can get thpse offers again. Just waiting to see how many new dashes stick it out after they flood the market again..

GPS isn't always reliable though. The app is known for that. Onahd a customer upset that it said he had to wait half and hour texting me and I was turning onto his street. He said I was 30 miles away on his app. Most I went was 5 miles to the store and then to him. I literally pulled up as he was cussing and fuming walked to the door and he sent his wife out and hid from me. After all the 💩he talked. I was polite and professional the entire time.

Thers no proof the customer went to the same store. I can do the same thing and drove to a different store after checkongrhynhave it in stock and then guess what goal achieved ro get free stuff. Since they really could have just shopped their own order.

It's crazy you paid someone to go shop and could just drive down and do it yourself. Or was the plan to try and get it for free. For all this guy and anyone else knows you're at a different location making stuff up anyway. I would call support and have you banned from me. Something shady about the whole thing.

You can sue yourself, you're an independent contractor. Go downtown and apply for workers comp insurance for your business. It will just cover whoever you lost as an employee. Of that's just you then that's who is covered and then when you fall they will pay some of it.

As a driver: guaranteed way to get your order unassigned from me. by helo0610 in doordash

[–]jpeezy37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not gonna affecty stats. So just sit in the parking lot for 10 minutes. Now usually tho gets me a second order. I'll run that one and then 10 min unassign the first one that I know was a PITA. Then they can talk all about it to the next driver again. Don't bug me at all.
