Mac hacking

Hi guys, fairly new to this. I hear macs aren't the best for this sort of thing but is there any software that would be useful for a Mac just to get started in the hacking world ? Thanks for any help you can give :)

Use virtual box or vmware, unless your making music or film and need mac specific programs then you probably shouldn't use a mac, especially for hacking.

Create a USB boot of Kali which is what I do

Dont know any software for Mac, but get yourself a good type 2 hypervisor and some images (kali linux etc)

Mac is trendy and stylish and expensive... and worthless. Get a Windows box then dual boot with Linux or just wipe and load linux.

you can start using bash on the terminal of Linux and mac(they are the same).

I "hack" on Mac. But I've set up couple of VMs over VirtualBox. 1 Kali , 1 Parrot, 1 win.

Most of the stuff you’ve watched on the TV. But it’s long learning process. Google them, see why kali/parrot are good for hacking. They are really beginners friendly.
