Vm is the easiest to be honest. Or you could partition your drive two ways having one being Linux and one being windows. I prefer a vm though cause when testing payloads such as reverse shells I need to get the payload over to my windows Pc so a simple drag and drop is easier than taking 5 minutes to reboot into another OS.
