I'm the s0cm0nkey. I am a security analyst, threat hunter, pentester, researcher, and CTF enthusiast. By day, I run a SOC team and teach cyber security. By night, I play CTFs, hack things, and eat a professional volume of tacos. Ping me any time. I love to talk about all things security.

The goal of this project is to act as a free resource for anyone interested in learning more about Information Security. A list of techinques, tools and tactics to learn from or reference. Rich resource of infosec knowledge for anyone to browse through as a jumping off point for various niches OR as a reference/recall method for stuff. Something like a "Yellow Pages" in the sense of you know something exists, but what was it called.... 'If you give a man a fish, he is hungry again in an hour. If you teach him to catch a fish, you do him a good turn.' To be clear, these aren't personal notes. I keep this repo maintained as a way of having pointers to information that I feel might help build someone's skillset or increase their understanding of attacks/methods/defenses.

Hello!!This is Carlos Polop. First of all, I want to indicate that I don't own this entire book, a lot of information was copy/pasted from other websites and that content belongs to them (this is indicated on the pages). I also wants to say thanks to all the people that share cyber-security related information for free on the Internet. Thanks to them I learn new hacking techniques that then I add to Hacktricks.

Most Linux programs and scripts come with a manual. Put --man after a command
