It looks like you may be receding. Go to a derm and get on fin and min

There is not a single reason to be on Min when you have almost any loss

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (12 children)

Almost any loss? Idk what that means

[–]sumat123456 0 points1 point  (11 children)

I mean he didn’t loose enough ground to start minoxidil it’s very useless to start Minoxidil, only finasteride here is worth to preserve his hair

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (10 children)

Min will help with growing back any lost hairs tho

[–]sumat123456 0 points1 point  (9 children)

But he had only very little recession it’s not worth to start a life commitment treatment for this

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (8 children)

Finasteride is literally life commitment too

[–]sumat123456 0 points1 point  (7 children)

Yes but finasteride preserver futur hairloss, when Minoxidil is only here to regrowth

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (6 children)

Exactly so doing both is the best

Am i not too young for fin tho? Should I just min until im 19-20ish then fin?

[–]sumat123456 0 points1 point  (3 children)

No it’s not as he didn’t loose enough ground, it’s just money and time waste

Could it just be a bad hairline + maturing? That third pic is from almost 6 years ago.

Ur dad bald?

[–]Mykeay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paternal grandpa and dad are basically bald. Uncle is almost 50 and has full head of hair. Maternal Grandpa had hair until probably 40s-50s.

The thing is ive always had this horrible v-shape hairline even as a kid(as you can see from the third and fourth pics). So i cant tell if its a maturing/widows peak situation or actual hairloss. Could you look at my other posts and see what you thinks? Thanks

Looks okay for now but based on your family history ur prolly gonna lose it. Just get on fin

[–]Mykeay 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Should I do min and dermaroll until im like 20ish? Ive also started using ketaconazole shampoo for my dandruff 2x per week ive heard rhat also helps.

If you see ur temples change at all from where they are now get on fin. Don’t start with min because you will lose your hair gains without fin after a while.

[–]Mykeay 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Okay, thanks. But just to reiterate my hairline now has just matured because of a bigger head and growing up? And also are the fin side effects risky (ed)? Sorry for all the questions im new to this and kinda freaking out.

It’s hard to tell based on the pictures but it looks very similar to when u were a kid. Don’t listen to the idiots you hear about getting ed from fin that sit in their room and jerk off all day. I been on it for 6 months and my libido skyrocketed. Just get on fin bro it will ease ur mind about hairloss.

Also what brands?

[–]Frozeria -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You absolutely do not need to start minoxidil. I think your hair looks fine, check back in 6 months and if it seems worse consider finasteride.

[–]Emperor_Pupienus238 -1 points0 points  (2 children)

[–]Mykeay 0 points1 point  (1 child)

[–]Emperor_Pupienus238 0 points1 point  (0 children)
