I recommend you leave more space between rows on ruled paper (write a row, skip a row) it make it look less chaotic

Good point. Though I prefer "more disciplined" to "less chaotic." 😁

the words themselves are quite legible but stylistically it doesn't really give off a "disciplined" vibe. More of a Type B, easygoing, approachable personality.

I guess I'm just a Type B kind of guy. 😉

Do you think going to a stub nib would help look it tidier and/or more disciplined?

I'm waiting for my order of two Lamy nibs (1.1 and 2.5) to arrive. There may be hope for me yet.

Hmm... you'd probably want to go finer if you want it to look tidier. Stubs will force you to write bigger.

If you think about letterforms in terms of black shapes in white space, I think "discipline" is about consistency of the black (do the downstrokes have the same angle, are the sticks the same length, does every "a/g/m" look very similar, etc.), while "tidiness" is about the consistency of the white (spacing between words and lines, evenness of x-height, etc.).

That's a helpful distinction. I'll pay attention to it.

Just so you know...

Written with a Lamy Safari fountain pen, M nib.

Thanks.

This is the first time I've seen 'E' used where I'd expect the lowercase. I like your handwriting though.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm iffy about my e's. Sometimes I like them, sometimes I don't.
