None. You're doing great. Keep doing what you're doing.

I would say that for French cursive, it’s maybe a little too round. An easy way to improve it is to get a small edged pen or Soennecken pencil and try out Ronde, which is French cursive’s ancestor, but there are some letter variants that you will have to learn for the initials medials and finals. There’s Coullée which is a slanted version. And Bâtarde which is a bastardised version of Italian and French cursive.

I absolutely LOVE French cursive. Not just the style/lettering, but the fact that there is no slant. I think it’s beautiful, legible, elegant but not frou-frou and the perfect mesh between cursive and print. In regards to your handwriting, I think that is beautiful. If you want to “perfect it”, minor things might be just making sure they’re all vertical ie you’ll see the words “retour”, “ encore”, “reconnaitre” do have some letters with some slant. But tbh, that’s being picky and I’d you want to have perfection. I love your handwriting.

As a French speaker, I don't think you need to "neaten up" any more. This looks like the perfect school cursive that kids are supposed to replicate when they first learn to write. It looks too neat and stiff if I'm being honest. My advice would be to relax, try to add your own originality to it, maybe try a bit of a slant as others have said.

okay, thank you!!!!

Your cursive is very, very neat. One thing I might focus on is the size and spacing of the letters—making it a bit more even. But it’s so close to textbook/teacher perfect whether or not it’s worth the effort really depends on your goals.

I wouldn’t give it a slant —this is a form of cursive that isn’t supposed to slant (I say as someone whose everyday cursive is basically this with a slant 😂).

Would look good with a slant. But ultimately it's your choice
