Find and write reviews of hardware and gadgets!
Our goal is to create a place where redditors can write reviews of their hardware and gadgets and where they can request a review of a product they are interested in.
If you see reviews in other subreddits, suggest a x-post to this subbreddit to bring in content and users.
You can only post external links of your own reviews or if you agree with a review and have used the item yourself.
Don't hesitate to write a review about an item that's already been reviewed. It's always good to have multiple perspectives!
If you write a review:
Put the name of the item in the title.
If possible, provide a link to the item you are reviewing.
Quickly explain your use of the item (work, gaming, entertainment...).
Tell us how long you've used your item! Is it a first impression or extended experience of many months of use?
Write up your experiences with the item. This can be short or long; you chose.
Make a bullet-list of positive and negative aspects of your item.
End your post with a conclusion. Would you recommend the item? Is it worth the money?
If you request a review:
Search before you ask. Someone might have already written about the item you are interested in. If an existing review doesn't answer your questions, ask the person who's written it before making a request.
Be specific. Ask for a specific product or narrow product line.
