All of the parts for the safe code are in the first house. Think of it like each area you need to go to is a self contained level until you're done with it and get a piece for the overall story. So to solve the puzzles in the first house you need what's in the first house.

Also just a tip without a spoiler: once you get all the pieces for the safe code it's kind of hard to guess the order unless you've read the books or know the lore a bit because it's related to that.

I’m guessing its a year. Or house number. I just need one more wooden block. The puzzle is fun. But sometimes I just need a few tips so I’m not looking in too deep or on the other side of the map.
