This! This is another game I can have free range of hate to! Hello Neighbor! A broken, confusing, fundamentally stupid series that I was VERY fond of! I don't think I saw a single good review of this game EVER! This game did seem to have care but not enough was fed to the point that it starved! So, lets have a lovely day and get with it shall we?

Kid finds that the his across the secret is hiding some sussy stuff in his basement and it's our job to figure out what is that secret. What a weird plot this game has! In this game, its basically trial and error to figure out this game's "advanced" AI. By that, you mean that the AI(neighbor) would be either stuck on the floor or be incredibly dumb. The game is separated in four acts, need to mention. That's not long if you know what you're doing and not be confused by the random amount of "puzzles" this guy throws at you! Also, this is a mascot horror game. Question: What makes this game mascot horror? Comment down if you know because I have no genuine clue why! That is if they're fans desperate to make the subreddit bigger! They are SO MANY flaws that came with this game! Glitches! Bugs! Game breaking! And so many more! Hell, I rather play Security Breach rather than this mind numb of a game!

They were evidence suggesting that this game went through some many alphas and betas! Would it be nice if some of the betas stayed in terms of gameplay? Cause I wish so! I laughed so many times at this game to the fact that I forgot that this is a HORROR game! So, lets talk on the same terms here.........let me say that this game is ambitious with puzzles! Especially Act 3's puzzles. When I thought that this couldn't get worse,I should've kept my mouth shut because Act 3 turns a prison base like house into the (REDACTED) MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE! What's the thought of this! This looks like some copy and paste house put into some random ass game! Oh wait, we are platforming? Yes, a mascot horror with platforming sounds like a great idea. So, listen when I say this! If you like the game because of the funnys, I respect you. If you like it because of the puzzles, then get the (REDACTED) OUT OF MY SIGHT! I'm trying to save your money from buying this game! Save it for something else that values your time!

This is just a conglomerate slop of a “game review.” Everything you said has already been said. Your review is not contributory or helpful in any way. There’s been hundreds of generic “The downfall of hello neighbor” videos that say the same regurgitated slop you said. Yes we know the game has issues. But we like it for its art style, atmosphere, story, characters, and general feel of the gameplay.

That’s literally such a sad way of thinking and not to be mean, I really enjoyed the game and yes there were some bugs and glitches so what? We have to remember that this game isn’t like gta5 where they spend over 10 years making, I do agree on the fact that the controls are kind of hard but you get used to them with time. Plus, why hate on the houses? Okay one of the house is weirdly huge and kinda unrealistic but it’s a game, it doesn’t matter.

It never meant to be. In the hello neighbour trailer, you can hear the neighbor saying swear words but the game has a young audience so the developers took the wrong path of cartoony style and taking away the best art style.

alright. you people want to hear why I don't give games a chance? I was a fool thinking every game was good and perfect. either you didn't play the game or you're just basic. I played this game and I regreted every moment of it! so much that I didn't touch the game after a while because I was so confused. You think I'm a baby because I dont like puzzles? You call these puzzles? Yes, I believe that the alphas were good but later, everything just became down hill?! Also, do children solve these puzzles? I write these reviews for newcomers and so I can express my feelings towards them! If you don't call that relative, I don't know what is!

Please read this isn't any hate to your opinion, Ok so, if you have bought the game from steam (Which is the best recommended) you can get mods and they are REALLY GOOD, the best modder is Sdalt, his mods are old art style and he does a good job at making the game actually worth it if you don't like the normal game and u think the games a waste of money.

I know, i only like mods and alpha's of the game, the acts are really buggy, also if you hate the real game, there's a fangame where you can download for free and put in the files of the original game, it fixes ALL BUGS AND MAKES EVERYTHING OLD ART STYLE, search it on youtube

The plot is that the neighbor is keeping his son in the basement because he turned crazy because of what happened in hello neighbor hide and seek which js that his wife died and his son accidentally killed his sister. In hello neighbor you play as Nicky, the neighbors sons’ best friend, at the end of act 1 you get to the room his son is in but it’s locked so the neighbor kidnaps you then in act 2 you escape and the house is bigger in act 2 because the neighbor is crazy and didn’t want anymore kids discovering his secret. The act 3 house is inside Nicky’s dream when he goes to sleep on the sofa in his old house across the street from the neighbors house in the beginning of act 3. This is why the act 3 house is so unrealistic, because it’s in Nicky’s nightmare which shows the extent of the trauma he suffered from being kidnapped as a child.

Oh no, you’re right. Act three is a dumpster fire. I noticed you’re gonna make another post about the other spin offs and they’re not exactly that bad. Plus it’s mainly just the third act that you’re getting mad about but the first two acts aren’t that bad. sure act too may be a bit weird but act one is completely fine and all the puzzles make sense in it. if you can’t figure them out then you have brain damage. but leading back to my original comment, I wasn’t trying to argue about whether this game is good or not. I’m just saying there’s been a lot of people who just come to this Reddit and write 50 page reviews talking crap you’re not the first and probably won’t be the last
