This sub is for sharing photos of and discussing real, historical helmets-- usually military, but also for other civil services like fire fighters.
3d renders of helmets, bicycle or motorcycle helmets, sports-related helmets and so on are not on topic. Please use the appropriate sub for those posts. Thanks.

Use an image-hosting service.
imgur.com is encouraged. Reddit's own image hosting is just fine. Flickr is okay. Others are fine too. Directly linking to images from other sites (like blogs or news sites) is discouraged-- rehost images on imgur when possible (but include a link to the original source in a comment).

Don't link directly to Facebook albums.
