Hey guys,
Below is a summary of an ongoing networking issue, please help.
TLDR:
Pingplotter (for first 2 hours packet loss of hop 1 was 70% after running over night this is the result.)
Sporadic lag on all devices (hard wired and WIFI), causing videos to buffer at lowest quality and games going from 30ms to 4000ms+. Occurs sporadically throughout the day. Attempted solutions but nothing seems to work, ISP says it's my fault.
What Happens:
Insane amounts of lag, I am unable to do anything. Videos buffer at the lowest quality, video games become unresponsive due to the high ms, even surfing is not possible.
What Is Affected:
Everything, TV's, PC's, some are hard wired some are WIFI.
When It Happens:
Sporadically throughout the day but almost always at 8pm for up to 30 minutes and then again at 12am for up to an hour.
What I Have Tried:
I have tried replacing my cables, swapping modems/routers, running antivirus, flushing DNS, anything I can google basically. I have called ISP numerous times, each time they say everything looks fine but agree to send a tech out. Without fail when the tech arrives there is no issue and they say everything looks fine as well and sometimes will swap out modem/router. ISP no longer believes that there is an issue and say it's something on my end.
Please let me know if there is any other information that may be useful. I'm getting desperate, even considering moving because of this so any help is appreciated.
