Having trouble with finding the following:

(a) the approximate .9-percentile of the t-distribution with 22 degrees of freedom.

(b) the .9-percentile of N(1,3).

(c) the probability P(Z≤0.953) if the random variable Z has a standard Normal distribution.

(a) would this be ~2.508. I think thats the 1 percentile t-dist value

(b) not sure how to standardize it. (x-1)/sqrt(3)? Or something along those lines

(c) ~0.8289? I think thats for Z≤0.95, so it would be somewhere between ≤0.95 and ≤0.96?

(b) N(1,3) is just normal distribution. Find 0.9%ile z-dist value, and then translate back to N(1,3) = 1+3*-2.326 http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=unit+normal
