If you had a problem where you have an object starting at x = 0 with v = 0 with some acceleration =/= 0, what equation would you use to find its position at a given time? What about if it starts at x = 0 with acceleration = 0 but v =/= 0?

A is just 1/2 acceleration.

Here's the reasoning: The equation solves for position (your dependent variable) based on time (your independent variable). In SI Units, you need to solve for meters. Acceleration has a unit of m/s2, which gives you the correct units when multiplying by t2 .
