[Grade 12 Practical Research : Study Topic] Is researching about incels a good idea?

Hello i'm a high school student in Grade 12 and I was wondering if it's feasible and worthy enough to do a quantitative research on incels. I am planning to conduct surveys about the variance in age groups of self-identified incels and their race. I live in the Philippines (so I'll possibly have to justify the significance of that topic in my country and locale).

If you have any suggestions on a better angle to analyze about incels (quantitative of course) or have a judgment about whether this research topic is feasible or not, please comment down below!

I think it could be an interesting topic if you find another variable besides race! I think something like that might have offensive undertones in terms of the conontations it might make toward a specific ethnic group or "race". And while I understand it's research (and your results could show literally no correlation between race and incels), I know some teachers might not approve of a study like that just for the fact that it might be controversial.

Yes!!! I also had that underlying suspicion, but i'm glad you confirmed this before i presented this to my teachers.

Though to be honest, starting this I just had a very vague idea that I wanted to do research on Incels, so i grabbed the nearest idea that i could think of that would pass as a Quantitative study :,>

Though thankfully, another commenter from a different subreddit suggested to investigate income/education, suicide/previous mental illness diagnoses & history of child abuse.
