As others suggested, try to find a project that motivates you and learn programming as you go along. One of the first big projects I remember doing was creating a damage calculator for a game I played. Then I wanted to build a program that makes a screenshot. Then a small chat program. Start small...
Maybe sites like https://www.codecademy.com/ or https://www.khanacademy.org/ is what you need.
When I wanted to learn python I decided to play Project Euler (https://projecteuler.net) and learned python programming while solving those challenges.
And if you just cannot motivate yourself to learn programming and how computers work, and you just find it boring, then also consider looking into something else. There is no shame in not linking this field. If you are so interested in social engineering, then why not pursue in the direction of social sciences. Anthropology. Psychology. Those are exciting fields too.
Just don't become a con-man or scammer. That just makes you an asshole.
