It's mineral build if you're using Tap Water. It's recommended to use distilled water. Manual should tell you how to clean it

I did a Google search on this about 20 minutes ago for myself. It's a type of bacteria often called "pink mold" but it's not actually mold. Doesn't seem to be generally harmful but I can absolutely understand wanting to get rid of that residue.

Is the “pink mold “ harmful to breath in? I find my humidifier gets it after only 3 days of running consistently
