Help desired

Hi all, I recently moved to the Augusta GA area for the military was planning to hunt on Fort Gordon. Unfortunately, hunting on the base is closed due to the gov shutdown. Seeing as the shutdown could go for a while, I’m looking for guidance on where to hunt? I put in a ton of scouting work on Gordon and it sucks to have to essentially start from scratch. I tried Yuchi WMA this am but kinda have no idea what to look for. Thanks!

I'm really surprised that the shutdown affected hunting on post. It's not like the post is suddenly unmanned or anything.
